Narveson is probably the biggest surprise on this list. His 2010 season was nothing special (12-9 4.99 ERA 1.378 WHIP over 167.2 innings), but some promising signs were there. His control was solid enough (2.32 k/bb ratio). He is a bit homer prone, but that was to be expected with his fringe stuff (upper 80s fastball, a looping curve and a decent change). That fringe stuff makes Narveson a risky pick. However, if he is in the rotation, Narveson can be a source of cheap strikeouts.
