Kennedy has pinpoint control, but not a lot of zip on his pitches. That forces him to pitch to spots in order to be effective, and that style of pitching is more effective in the National League. Arizona is not an ideal park for him to pitch in (Dodger Stadium or Petco Park are ideal). His 2010 season was solid for a bad Arizona club (9-10 3.80 ERA 1.201 WHIP over 194 innings). Kennedy is never going to be an ace on a fantasy staff (unless it is a very bad staff), but there is no reason he can not be a good #3 SP on a fantasy staff.
